I anticipate that May and June will see some of the best fishing of the whole year on the Caney Fork River. Crowds will also be the norm so plan your float trip for a week day ideally. If your plan is to fish in the Smokies, the month of May is probably the best month of the whole year for fishing in the Park. June brings the bonus of some beetle fishing options. Those of you who have beetle fished with me before know how much fun that is.
